Interior Design Summer Internships - Summer 2025
Locations: Office Interiors – Granger and Merrillville Offices
Internship Duration: Summer 2025
We are looking for motivated and creative Interior Design Interns to join our team!
Positions are available in both Granger and Merrillville offering hands-on experience in commercial design. You will have the opportunity to work alongside our Project Designers, Senior Designers, and Design Manager throughout the design process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in executing design activities in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Support CAD drawings, space planning, and computer renderings
- Participate in client meetings, field measurements, and product research
- Help prepare presentations and design proposals
- Gain practical experience with manufacturers and products represented by our firm
- Demonstrate proficiency in design software and technology used by our team
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Interior Design from an accredited institution
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit (or similar programs), as well as Microsoft Word & Excel
- Strong interest in commercial furniture and workplace design
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Furniture Installation Technician
What you'll be doing
Creating great working environments for our customers
- Using your skills and care to deliver and assemble desks, workstations, conference tables and other office furniture from our quality suppliers
- Leaving job sites spotless and move-in ready
- Assisting to sort out any issues, leaving our clients thrilled, because you’re excellent at what you do

Vista Technologies Installation Technician
What you'll be doing
- Representing one of the area’s leaders in custom Audio Visual integration
- Using your knowledge of IT, AV and Telephony to install integrated technical systems
- Product staging, testing, organizing, and prefabricating
- Training to become skilled at control systems design, programming, and commissioning, if required
- Coordinating with our Project Manager and interfacing with our clients and trades

Your qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
- Two years experience in multiple disciplines including AV, IT, VoIP, networking, commercial audio & video
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, addressing, firewalls, routers, vlans and VPN
- Solid understanding and experience with integrated operating systems
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation & schematics
- Installation, cable pulling, field terminations, system commissioning, audio DSP configuration, programming, etc.
